|
|
I've come across a few different recommendations on this...
One says to "turn head and look up and over your lead shoulder" and another says to "tilt head and try to put your ear on your back shoulder (like you would hold a telephone receiver)"
Which one is correct or works better to initiate the back roll? |

I think you might of got mixed up, to initate the backroll you tilt your head and put your ear on your shoulder, but when your coming around to spot your landing you look over the lead shoulder to spot the landing.
Hope it helps. |

| Well if you put your ear on your rear shoulder your going to be looking over your leading shoulder unless you close your eyes, which is a bad idea. So when you come off the wake you will look snap ear to your rear shoulder and keep the handle low and wait to spot your landing. |

| colefooter, thanks. As you can see from the replies above, there is still conflicting advice. I am going to go with your recommendation though since looking over my lead shoulder off the wake caused my rotation to stall half-way through the trick. |

I guess everyone throws backrolls different..
Tyler~Moore, are you sure you do that right off the wake? Sounds like your describing how you spot the landing.. |

| I've never heard the tilt your head to your ear method. I always turn my ching toward my lead shoulder. |
