I'm looking for a decently priced replacement for my Salomons. Anyone have experience with these boots?

I personally would never buy boots over the net. I think that boots are something you need to try on and walk in to see if they have the right stiffness, right flex, and everything else before i buy them. You could see if any local board shops have a pair of those boots, try them on and then order them from the internet if the price is that much better.

Just my two cents

I unfortunately live in NW Florida...not an option at this time. I completely agree with your two cents though.

So if you live in florida where you gonna go ride?

Since thats not an option try and find some product reviews. I have a ride Serum 161 and i really like the product. It works well in the park, good flex and will take as much crap as i push at it as far as messed up rails, the occational patch of rock or grass that i have to ollie on the trail so i would say that ride makes a good product and that shouldnt be a problem for you.
