hitting a kicker without fins

OK i have a board that i can take the fins off.. should i take them off when hitting a kicker or a slider.. Or could i just buy smaller fins for my board and then just hit the kicker and slider with smaller fins.

yea take the fins of, unless you have 1.0 or less fins on an agressive 3 stage rocker... but taking them off would be best

on my board i have a fin at the front and one at the back .. so what u are saying is i can hit kickers and sliders with my fins on my bard still..

What are some pros and cons to having the fins on and off.

pros have more stabilty while riding, cons can break your fins.

cwbwakeboarder, most boards do have fins at the front and the back but def. take the fins off

cwbwakeboarder, take the fins off for kickers and sliders, or else you could rip the fins off of your board, which does damage to the screw holes where the fins go.

chipsevila, a kicker is a water ramp thingie, slider is like the grind rail of wakeboarding.
