Rubber (PVC) profile of the boat

Does anyone know how to restore to its pristine condition the rubber (or PVC) profile of the boat?. Mine is black but faded by the sun and salt water.
Is it possible to use a special painting or something like that?

if you are talking about the rubrail try acetone and a rag.

Yes, the rub rail.
Can acetone bring it back to its original color (black) ?

With older Rub rails you could use Acetone to clean and to remove scratches and such, it sorta eats away the rubber.
Seems in the last couple of years, in particular CC (don't know about others) the rubrails are a little bit different type of rubber (harder) and Acetone doesn't work quite as well.

Try Acetone in a small section first and then if that works go for it.
