|
|
Here is the new slider that just got built on Lake Austin.
Here is my first attempt.
Here is my second attempt
Well, after a few unsuccessful try's, I finally slide the whole length, and it has gotten easier ever since.
No pain....No gain. |

| Haha nice job Dpierce! Is that just wood, or did you use sheeting on top? Looks like it would be a fun rail to hit... how long is it? |

It is just wood. When I hit it, I keep my Absolute in the board racks and use my buddys Parks w/o fins. It slides really good. (you should see that board now! HAHA)
We wet it down before we hit it though. At the moment we are looking for a sheeting type material to use. The slider is 60 feet not including the ramps.
Thanks man, i still have a nice bruise on my leg. That second pic were I am crashing in the water, its only like 2 feet deep ...needless to say, I had a lot of sand in my ass! LOL _________________

| Haha that's awesome... get some sheeting for the top - once you get that covered it'll be sick. Honestly, sliding is definitely my favorite aspect of the sport now - sooo much fun... even with slivers and sand in your crack... haha |
