| You should demo a few different brands if you are looking at getting a new board. A subject like this on here is kind useless as everyone has their own opinion. However, most people will probably tell you Liquid Force, Hyperlite, and CWB brands are the best. Good luck and welcome to the forum. |

Thats like asking what is the best car.
If you are looking for a board, goto a nearby shop and see what they have in the way of demo deals. |

Works for me also and I must admit the board has sick pop. The 3-stage rocker on the board is crazy. I recommend it to anyone! _________________ www.Tigeowners.com

Im new to boarding too, but I got a lot of help when buying my board. From what I heard everyone that has a Hyperlite likes it. Mines a 136 TFD Biolite, it has a lot of pop off the wake. |

my card board has insane pop, it like a straight up rocker, oh and the thin peice of card board material can easily hold your weight on a slider carboards are much superior to any other company _________________ 06' watson 138

you guys are a lot of help to this guy.
try a hyperlite or a liquid force. demo a couple boards and see which one rides best for you. make sure you pick a board with the ''quality'' you want...more pop, progressive edges, etc. |

Ok, we can get back on topic.
Demo boards from your local board shop, thats the only way to go. Liquid force came out with some sweet 05 boards, check them out. |

There are sooo many more companies to check out than just Hyperlite and Liquid Force. Yes they are some of the most popular, and they have great boards, quality and service, but they not the only comapnoies out there, and they may not make the very board which you are looking for. Other companies such as DoubleUp, CWB, Gator Boards, O'Brien, Jobe/J Star are other great companies to look into, not to be overlooked because they may not be QUITE as popular as the previous two, though they are becoming more and more a more picked route I believe. Each has a whole bunch of different and some similar boards, that are all great quality. Demo a few that catch your fancy (shape, and characteristics that would affect ride, not so much looks...though everyone lets that affect their choice just a LIIIIIIIL BIT!! lol )
good luck finding the right board for you, and hope its a good deal too! Fun times riding to ya _________________ Keep Austin Weird |
