Today I was sitting at my comp happily typing along when I hit my can of dew, and it got into my keyboard. The thing is normally I wouldn't care, I would just go and buy a new keyboard, but it was a logitech cordless elite and cost me $99. Is there any way to fix it?

Well I dont know what I would do with a cordless(battery powered) one. I would say take the battery our, wash it down, and let it dry ALL THE WAY. I've put regular keyboards through the dishwasher believe it or not and let the dry. The now work fine, and are nice and clean. Very Happy I wont tell anyone to do that though incase it melted it or something. Shocked

I have washed out a keyboard before, just make sure you let it dry long enough...

do you take them apart and wash them, or just put them under water, or scrub them?

I finally cleaned it last night. I took the batteries out and everything apart. I then washed them in warm water without soap (best for spilled soda). Then used a hair dryer fans and paper towels to absorb any water remaining. I then re-assembled it and works great! Feel free to pm me or email me if you would like more details. Thanks for all your help. Very Happy
