'05 LF Substance

I'm looking at upgrading to the '05 Substance but don't really see the difference between the '05 and the '04, besides of course the graphics. Does anyone know of any changes LF made between the two. I'd rather pay the price for the '04 than the '05 if they are the same thing. Thanks alot to anyone who can help!

I'm pretty sure they didn't have a change. I will be corrected if I'm wrong though.

Hey, there are no changes from 04 to 05. Afghan is right, it's the same board.

Scored an '04 138 Substance at seedickride.com for $230 end of August. Was a blem, dut damned if I could find it.

Another in my crew got the '04 141 Litmus there, same time & price (not a blem). Litmus rides similar, just doesn't seem to lock in quite as hard or tight and releases quicker than the Substance.

Both worth a look.

What's the deal with blems? Has anyone ever recieved or seen a real bad blem? My brother bought a Byerly blem and we looked it over and over and couldn't find anything. Other then that I really haven't come across too many. One more question. Is there a place that anyone knows of that has alot of blems that they run huge discounts on?

Yeah, I bought an '01 HL Project and it had a noticeable bubble on the running surface. The retailer jerked me around long enough that I ended up getting a clean '02 for the blem price.

There were no changes from 04 to 05, except the graphics.

the 05 alphas are SICK..so comfortable, and solid, yet easy in and out. Substance kicks ass too! Thats my exact setup (except 04 substance which is the exact same shape)

the board is sick... just look at the guys who ride it... shawn Watson, Kevin Henshaw, nick ennen, tino santori, colin harrington etc.

The 05 Element is the 04 Alpha with new colorways. The 05 Alphas are improved with some new materials and pre-molded curved overlays that will form to your foot and leg better providing more comfort.

wakeguy2008, dude the 05's blow the stuff outa the 04' there is so much more support and comfort.... the main thing thats I liked is how much more support it gave you in and around the ankle area..... if you really dont thave the money than go for the 04s but dude seriously check out the 05

yeah i i figured the 05s would be alot better...i dunno what im gonna do but its either the 04 alphas 05 alphas or 05 sphynx...but money is a big deal right now so im not sure on what im doin...oh well i dont need em till next season anyway...i dont even need em but i want em lol...i got my eras already...
