Well this season was my first season for wakeboarding, and I went from not being able to get up to getting up, headin outside the wake and hitting a 180 in the flats.
Not bad for a few times out on the lake, well anyway now that this season is coming to an end, what do you do everyonce in a while to keep up the skills?
I am thinking about pickin up skateboarding, but I dont know yet.
There is no snow in Oklahoma, just ice, so I cant snowboard or I would break out my lib tech and hit the slopes?
What to do? |

Snowboarding trips are always good, i skated alot of over the winter last year and it was a noticeable help.
Also hitting up the gym and using the old indo board aren't bad things to do either.
But besides the physical part, watching videos and sorta studying they way tricks are done can help as well. _________________ www.hyperlite.com

I started riding last year and didn't really loose much at all over the off season. And I didn't do anything to stay in shape besides snow skiing, which doesn't really do anything for your wakeboarding skills.
Of course I only took 3 month off from riding over the winter, so it wasn't that much of an off season. _________________ So, I've got that goin' for me...which is nice! |

This was my first season wakeboarding and im addicted, so this is my plan for the winter...
1.) Save for a SN2001
2.) Indo Board
3.) I have my wakeboard handle attached to a pulley in my room, with a 25lb weight attached to it, so it kinda feels like your being pulled, help me get comfortable with switch |

they are great..easy to get used too, and a challenge to learn new things on. I have had one for a year now and only shuvits, ollies, and 180s and stuff..REALLY fun. _________________ Keep Austin Weird |

Visualization is a huge part of any sport. Also helps with muscle memory. |

also he said that he had a pulley and a 25 pound weight connected..this pull would make you sit back against it more like riding..so he isn't just holding a handle for the fun of it. _________________ Keep Austin Weird |

You can build an indo board for cheap so do a search. After you have one practice standing on it while watching tv. Dont take your eyes off of the tv and go simply off of the feel of the board and wheel underneath it, builds a lot of balance. _________________ Hold up....Wait a minute....
