I just bought a Blindside Mckee for $109 pus shipping off ebay. I got it and the blemish was just a small white line, all I did was rub it off with my thumb and the board is freaking mint now! I'm so excited.
Have any of you had any good or bad experiences with blem boards? I was gonna recommend my friends to look into them, but i'd like some more insight.
Also, where is a good place online besides ebay where i can find blem boards for a good price? Thanks all. |

| I once bought a LAMAR snowboard that was a blem. I saved $200 bucks and rode the stick for 2 or 3 years with no issues. |

I bought a Luke Wolf double up 141(I Think) for 40 bucks. If any one lives in Washington go to wiley's and ask if they have bench boards. They have 3 holes drilled in the bottom of them so you won't ride them but you can fill them in way easy or just not fill them in at all like me. We also bought 2 Greg Nelsons for 40 bucks each. They rode way good too but my parents made those in to a bench. I was pretty heated. _________________ www.nationsfoundation.org

| Most blems I have seen are just cosmic no effect to the board what so ever... We had a board today that was a "blem" and the only thing wrong with it was there was some dirt or sumthing under the top glossy coat or whatever on a white board... No big deal... But its still a blem to some people... The worst I have seen is when LF sent us out a board where all the fin wholes were drilled in the wrong place then filled in very noticably and tried to charge the shop full price for the thing... There was most likely no problem in the ride what so ever... Just all looks |

i got a blem HL 2003 dna premier 140 and before over the summer it ripped down the middle, but i dont think it had anything to do with being a blemished board, so i just sent it in to hyperlite and they sent me a brand new 2005 dna premier 141 for free |

| All I ride is my shop's blem boards and leftovers. I've never had a structural problem with the exception of misalligned fin holes on a 2004 Substance. Don't ride with fins, so no biggy. |

| Last year I bought a 2003 Hyperlite Premier blem from grizzly sports. There was this patch filling in a spot on the bottom of the board so it was a couple hundred bucks cheaper. This past season it fell off while I was riding so I had to ride the rest of the week on my friends board, but when I got back I called them up and they said they'd replace it then when I went in they were out of blems so they gave me a new 04 without a blem, which, naturally, made me very happy. So ya, it broke, but I got a brand new board for free, so it rocked anyway. |

| I just got a blem 2004 Hyperlite Premiere. It just has a very small red line on part of the graphics on the bottom of the board. Got it brand new off of Ebay for $170. |

I got a blem Byerly this year, one of the fins did not have complete pigment through out so it looks a little lighter than the other 3, no big deal. Can you say 1/2 price....$210.00 _________________

| The majority of blem boards are just cosmetic, and you save quite a bit of money. I rode a blem premier for a year and noticed nothing, only blem was on the tail, was compacted when they pressed it, rode fine. Generally seconds (blems) are just cosmetic, when you get into 3rds you run the chance of getting a board that has mold issues. |
