About boat weighting, is 1200 pounds in the middle of the boat the same as you know 300 in each of the corners (bow, back, and two in center)???

I don't want to blow a lot of money on little 300 pound sacs and I could get 2 600 pound sacs for less money!

It's the same amount of weight (duh), but I don't think you will get the same results. You need to distribute the weight all over the boat.

You have to distribute the weight all around for the biggest cleanest wake. The way my boat is set up is I run the stock ballast that came in the boat (2 back tanks, 1 center tank) then I put 2 side sacks in the back, 1 full sack in the middle, and 1 full sack in the nose. The wake is killer.

I found a good deal

Would a 350 pounder in front, a 350 pounder in back and a 600 pounder in the middle make a great wake?

Depends on the boat and about 100 other different variables. In my buddies MC about 2000lbs is great, but in my Four Winns about 1000 lbs is perfect.

Anyone have any experience putting a fat sac up in the walkway of the bow?

I have an X-10 with the bow filler cushion, which leaves a spot underneath it empty that I could put a sac in it, but don't know what size to buy.

Any help would be great.

Thanks,
HB

I have one up there, I bought 2 of the phat buddies that go beside the engine, put 1 in my trunk and 1 up front (also have 2 beside the engine d-drive) I had 1 600# in the trunk but splitting it shapes the wake a lot better
