for my pylon (lol sorta same thing) we got a tralier wiring harness. it has 4 wires (two speakers) We just spliced power into that. When we take the pylon off we just unplug it and we are ready to roll. It works pretty good. _________________ www.hyperlite.com

We did the same thing as adam, used trailer plug harness. Additionally, we put four speakers on the tower so we used two. To make them "idiot" proof we used one male and one female coming out of the top tower, so they can only plug in right.

I've seen a lot of installations where people use flex tubing over their speaker wire where the tower bends. So when you fold the tower down it just bends and you don't have to disconnect anything. That is what I am planning on doing. It looks pretty clean too. |

I agree with kschroeder, the less you have to take off and unhook the better. |

We only used the plugs because the tower top comes all the way off.

Anything is good just make sure you mark them differant not plugging the wrong ones back together and use the electric grease so it will cut down on the corrision on the plugs themself. |

I used a 4 pole round trailer connecter One of the pins is larger & prevents plugging wrong. It's the smallest one I could find & has been working great.
The tower was just built & hadn't been completely polished in this pic. It shows the connector the best though. |
