ok so what is the trick to landing it, i all ways get pulled back and/or drop the rope. I make sure i spin it blind after i spot the water, get on my toes and push my face to the water. I've landed 2 of them but i can't do them any more. WHAT IS MY PROBLEM!!!

Ive found that if you take a nice easy approach to it and really load your front foot, then just throw the tantrumnormally and as soon as you spot the water give a tug on the handle to pull to blind it always just sort of happens. the key is to load your front foot off the wake so that you wuill get your extra blind spin in without much effort and just keep your arm pinned to your back. and be sure that since youre landing blind that you keep looking AWAY from the boat so that you are riding blind too.

also, when you are first learning it take it straight up and wake2wake. Landing blind is so much easier if you are landing on the downside of the other wake.

grab it indy. it is 50 times easier. grabbing it will keep you balled up and make you go straight up while keeping everything compact making it easier to go to blind.

you can do regular blind 180's landing wrapped correct?

i have landed one with an early handle pass, and 2 with it more to blind. I can do indy BS 180s perfect. But I landed the tantrums 2blinds before I learned BS 180s so now that i can do BS 180s good, i think it will be a whole lot easyer. I think its just a matter of time before I get them consistant.

Just to give you guys a little update, I went out for my last ride on sunday. 53 degrees weather. And I was trying these cause knew it was my last ride and I wanted to get one more before the end of the season. Any way tried like 3 of them, with the same thing happening(the handle getting ripped out of my hand but riding away perfect). Any way my hands were getting numb in the cold water so i was about to call it a season. So I gave my dad the head in sign, but i was like i got to try one more. I cut in do, it perfect, I figured it out too all i had to do was rotate the BS 180 just a little sooner. So I land it and have a sweet end to my season. I just hope I can still land them next year.

as soon as you hit the peak, you pass the handle as early as you can, and towards the end, add a lil 180 for a moby dick:)
practice practice practice.

NWR - the longer you wait to go to blind the easier they are. search for the latest video posted by Brandon Lee, its of his brother Brett, watch how late Brett goes to blind.

I think different things work for different people. I've tried it early I've tried it late. those don't work for me. What worked for me is AS SOON as i see the water, when i am coming around i spin it and that worked for me and that was the easyest. I've landed them all 3 ways but that way is the easyest. and i am hoping it will be the most consistant
