| ok i am a wakeboarder but mostly a kneeboarder...we all know there are many simalarities in tricks between the two sports...i read the instructions on how to do a KGB on a wakeboard...i know how to do a 360, a backroll, and a backroll to 180 on a kneeboard,so i think i am ready to try a KGB on a kneeboard... the only problem is that when i do a wrapped 360 i have it on the improper side (not between me and wake) is it possible to do a KGB on a wakeboard with the rope wrapped around you on the other side? has anyone ever done this? is there any safety issues i should worry about? like should i try to do a backroll with the rope wrapped around me and land wrapped so i know what its like?is there any danger of having a loose rope and maybe getting tangled in it through this trick? and i pretty sure that a kgb has never been attempted on a kneeboard so any info you can give me, might get me a sponsor... sorry about talkin bout kneeboardin on a wakeboard forum but i want to land this trick... |

Ok bro, don't think I'm a bad guy, but.... GET THE HELL OUTTA HERE!!!
j/k, kinda... serously, this is not kneeboarding and no one here cares about kneeboarding, (or at least they wouldn't admit to it). Now while I do admire your courage to ask such a ridiculous question on a wakeboard forum, I still must make fun of you.
Kneeboarding is for wallies with mullets. No one is going to sponsor a kneeboarder, sorry. Maybe you should try wakeworld.com _________________ The consciousness of self is the greatest hindrance to the proper execution of all physical action.

oooohhh I'm all hard cause I wakeboard and I rip on kneeboarders cause they aren't worthy of breathing the same air I do, much less posting on the same forum pages.
I apologize waterdork, those guys are obviously wakeboarding gods and they could probably do anything on a kneeboard if they wanted to because it is a "wimpy" boardsport. Personally I don't do it cause wakeboarding is more fun in my opinion, but I would also be afraid of trying those types of tricks on one cause it seems like it's so much harder on your body, so I give you props for doin that stuff.
To answer your question, I think a backroll with a frontside 360 is a mobe, and they aren't normally done wrapped.
Now me and you will probably both get ripped on, but don't let it get to you. _________________ hace frio tambien |

| Ok i you do a backroll with a backside 360 it is a kgb and if you do a backroll with a frontside 360 it is a h/s mobe . You can do both of them wrapped but normally dont see a h/s mobe wrapped. The only person i`ve seen do that is dallas friday. |

no way phil, a helicopter with a backflip on it is a heelside mobe. A KGB is a ts blind off axis 720. Its on the trick list man, look it up. _________________ Whats the difference between a pickpocket and a peeping tom? A pickpocket snatches watches. |

Aaron Hale, wrong, if that's what the trick list says, then it's a mistake
Phil, right. |

First of all, theres no such thing as a pro kneeboarder anymore. However, you shouldn't bash kneeboarding cause thats where it all starts. Everyone i know who wakeboards learned to ride a kneeboard first. _________________ Yabba Dabba Dizzle |

i just looked too and this is what this site said, and every other source i've seen said.
KGB: A heelside backroll with a handle-pass backside 360 - Invented by Ryan Seibring and Gregg Necrason. |
