The boats for sale and I'm playing around with different colour combinations. MC's flake patterns, Anyone seen these yet? How do they look in person and on the water? Are they tough to keep looking good? Seriously thinking about getting the new boat with one.

Also on the MC build a boat, how do you copy the picture of your boat you built. you can print it but you can't seem to copy just the pic?

I have seen one at my local dealer. It looks great on the showroom, not sure how it would look after a season, though...

I have a full sized version too, if you want it.

Sure you can send it to my Email here at work pat@segl.ca

I'm digging the whole metal flake look!! Looking at gun metal or silver.

Just wondering what the texture's like is it smooth as well? Normal wax or 303?

Ya, I sent it over. It's a smooth, in-gel finish. Looks great, but will it be able to resell in 5-8 years?

Wasn't the orange and black X-star in Boombox also metal flake? I think metal flake is pimp, but not really classy. Pimp like low riders.

The more I look at the better I like it!! I do wish I could see one in person to really get a taste of what it looks like.

I do remember Parks having a metal flake x-star. Don't think I ever saw a picture of it though.

As for 70's bass boat style, I LIKE it. I'd rather have something unique then be just another one of the sheep. That's why I put the different design on my sundeck. Something a little different.

Any idea of cost? Is it anymore than the standard?

I hate metal flake normally cause a lot of ski boats in aussie use it
But I really like that silver metal flake on the Xstar
but only with a black hull and topdeck

I think the metal flake looks too much like the glitter bass boat colors. I think they do it to attract fish, so if your dad is a fisherman and you like to wakeboard, then go for it.
Even some football helmets are going metal flake.

The dealer in Austin has one on the floor with the Silver Flake, and it looks sweet.

Gotta admit, I don't know if I would actually BUY it, might turn into a crotchety fisher type person if I did...hey, it's YOUR boat, get what you want! Very Happy
