We are looking at getting an 05 vlx and were looking at the towers. We want a solid tower. i have ridden behind some shaky towers when we hit the chop. Is the illusion very stable. Will it cause stress cracks in the gel coat. same with the blade.
Thanks for your responses

The blade hasn't come out yet, I do not believe. The Illusion is very solid. It will flex if you were to hang on it, but it feels rock solid 75 feet back. The Titan is the definition of solid, but many friends of mine have put 150+ hours on their X's and have had no stress crack related problems.

Dude, my friend has a new VLX with the Illusion x tower (the solid bacwards swoop looking one) and it is the most sturdy tower I have seen./ It doesnt move while hitting D-ups. Plus it just looks sexy on the 'bu!
