Shot at Waddell Creek. Hard to shoot because of the distance between the rider and the kite. Maybe a wide angle from the water's edge would be better. I'm in the parking lot for this shot, didn't have time to stick around and do much shooting.

What lens RD?

I think I would like to see him doing a grab or invert better, but the pic has a nice "subject" and "feel" to it I think

I love that picture. Its melow and relaxing. There's enough pictures of inverts and grabs IMO

That's from the 70-300 DO at the sort end. I was only there for a few minutes and burned more frames tracking the kites themselves - experimenting with AI servo, then trying to get anything great picture-wise. It was mostly overcast so the lighting wasn't that good. That's actually a huge crop - ck the original - nothing like extra pixels!
