| I can land w2w TS FS 180's now but not HS 180s because i slide out and bust my nuts so I dont like trying them. Thats why I want to do a TS BS 180, what are some key things to remember? |

pop heavier off your front foot. the acutally handle pass is pretty late, so don't be scared if you don't get the handle right off the wake. land looking at the second wake. Thats bout the only tips i can give you right off the bat.... _________________ www.hyperlite.com

Some key things to remember is that it is by far the hardest of any 180, and if you can only do 1 type of 180 then your gonna more than likely hurt yourself the first few times (or more than that probbly)
Anyways, unlike all other spins, you really want to concentrate on spinning right off the wake, since once you're in the air it's hard to spin ts bs, so you the wake to help you. You also have to really lean away from the boat and be quick with the handle pass or you'll go OA and crash. |

Thanks, It would seem that the handle would be near where you want it to pass since you are cutting TS, I know that it will try to unwind you so If I yank the handle a little bit would that help?
O yea, how are the falls on this btw? I wouldnt think they could be too bad. |

they have potential to be bad, if you get stuck with your back to the boat, try to land on your toes.
you wana pull pretty hard, it is is harder because you cant get as much pull off the handle, it is sorta close but nothing like a h/s b/s 180. But it is by far on of the funnest and coolest looking 180s, esp if you grab it _________________ www.hyperlite.com

Something that helps with ts bs 180s is the edge. It's a tricky edge to get down real good, but the idea is to really edge up the wake, without leaning against the rope real hard. What that does is still gives you the pop you need without a lot of line tension, so the handle pass comes around easier.
Just come in on a real light edge then dig your toes in at the wake to get the pop you need. I also like to practice them one-wake first. Just starting at the bottom of the wake, edging up it and doing the bs 180. That's a good way to get used to the feel of the move. |

| I would try an ollie bs 180 first. Cut out on your toeside away from the wake and do an ollie bs 180. It will give you an idea of the landing and the rotation before you take it to the wake and start getting in the air and off axis. You could even try a surface bs 180 to get used to the rotation. |

| Wakebrad, i can do Ollie BS 180's the landing is weird tho, I guess if I had more air time I could rotate slower and have a little more time to prepare for the landing, on ollie blind 180's you jump spin and your on the water going backwards before you know it, no time to turn your head forwards so it feels very weird. |
