|
|
I just got a Parks 138 DNA from dru dalton on here and ive had it for a few days but it hasnt moved since i took it out of the box. I was looking at it today and i noticed that there was a buldge and crack on the base of the board about 1.5" long. Im wondering if its worth sending back and getting a new one? heres a bad pic of it plus a good pic of the board (just incase you wanted to see) sorry i didnt know how to make it smaller.

| It's really hard to make out what I should be seeing in the first pic. Is there any way you get a better picture? if you can, email it to me (j_a_rviko@hotmail.com) and I can resize it for you...

it's hard for me to make out anything from your picture, but your description of a "buldge" sounds exactly like the parks 133 i bought my son this winter. the only response i got from Hyperlite was .... "it looks like it was impacted" and i KNOW that is not the case.

| ya looks just like that except its near the bottom of the board, and its also right near the edge like that. Its small enough that it doesnt look like a big deal but if it is i should take care of it right away.

| I cant really tell whats going on with that but I have had to fix a crack in my board (I dropped it) The top layer had flaked off a little exposing the inner core. I just went to Home Depot and got some 2 - part epoxy (there is a slow curing one that is supposed to be better, the fast stuff is the 10 min, the longer says an hour, but if you read the instructions the fast stuff really takes a few hours to fully cure and the longer stuff takes 24 hrs) masked around it with tape, put on the epoxy, covered with masking tape (to keep it mashed down) and let it cure over night. No probs since then.
