When I first started I was immediately more comfortable with my HS edges and could MILDLY jump the wake....when I attempt the same on TS I always manage hit the wake crossways....and the end result is either extremely ugly and I stay up or I face plant.....ANY SUGGESTIONS on how I can become more comfortable on my TS would be greatly appreciated Puppy Eyes

when edging toeside lean against the rope, not over your toes. when you land your jump keep leaning against the rope and stay on that edge, i know it sounds crazy, but it works.

You can also land your TS jump with just your left hand on the handle. Having both hands on the handle make your body rotate in the air.

Or you can just go TS 180's and use the rotation you're getting to your advantage.

thanks I will give this a try.....its just that it feels completely against my natural functions to go that way I don't know why....I am right handed so I guess the only way to get it down is try and learn from my mistakes

plz remember that edging is a lot different than leaning. Leaning will get you into trouble when you try landing on your toeside edge. Rather than leaning too much, put pressure on your toes and put the handle at the small of your back

the way i learned to jump toeside was to edge through the wake as if i was edging out to do a heelside jump. I thought the guy who tought me this was crazy but it works, good. I thought i would just smash into the wake and fall, but instead i jumped all the way to the next wake.
