| grokwik, As soon as I landed a ts backroll, i tried the roll to revert. Both of them took me about 7 tries to land, but I find now that the roll to revert is harder for me. It isn't the switch landing, but the fact that you have to rotate a little more than on a roll to revert. On the straight ts roll, you can underrotate quite a bit and you are fine, whereas on the roll to revert if you underrotate you are going to catch your nose. Also, on the ts roll you can spot the landing a lot better than on the roll to revert. So IMO I would try for the ts roll. As they always say, jump, 180, 360, ..., so you probably want to learn the roll before the roll to revert. Also I found that the trampoline helped an immense amount in getting the feeling for the roll to revert. Just my 2 cents. GOOD LUCK! |

grokwik, I landed the TS Backroll to revert before I landed the TS backroll, in fact I haven't even landed the TS backroll yet. So I think that going to revert on this trick is way easyer cause I find riding away switch HS is way easyer then landing TS, because for the straight Backroll you need to spot your landing and push your chest to the water so you land on your toes and don't slip out. For the backroll to revert you don't need to worry about any of that, you can just huck the flip and if you land on your board just hold on tight and ride away. _________________ www.nationsfoundation.org

You know it is funny I just learned a TS roll to revert a couple weeks ago. I learned a TS backroll a couple of years ago but have only been able to do it off the double up. For some reason the TS roll to revert is easier for me. I have a friend that is the same way except he never learned how to do a TS back roll. It seems to me for some reason I can get better pop when I throw it to revert. For me it seems like the landings are little easier going to revert, if you under rotate you are kind of screwed if you over rotate you can land on your butt and pull out of it. With a TS Backroll if you over rotate or under rotate much you are screwed. At least that has been my experience. Of course my best move is falling down. _________________ Skiing made me board,

Couldn't get it to play with Windows Media Player, maybe try a different format? _________________ Skiing made me board,

I think that you need a more progressive edge..and you really tried to throw it like a tantrum movement throwing your shoulds towards the boat. _________________ Keep Austin Weird |
