Was wondering how the orange gelcoat of the Centurion compares to the orange gelcoat on the Malibu's. Is it the same shade? My fiance loves the orange on the bu and wants to switch our red hurricane to orange. The only prob I have is that it's a crap shoot because I've never seen an orange centurion. So I don't want to be stuck with a new boat with a questionable color. She doesn't dislike the red but she would love to have the orange if it was the same shade as the bu. The happier she is the happier I'll probably end up being. I know the resale will go down with orange, but we plan on keeping it for a while.

There is a picture of UT's '02 LaPoint promo on boattrader. It's not a very good pic, but I'll get a hold of Robert Thayer at the factory and see if he has any Hurricane pics in orange.

I think the color is called "too orange." My .02...stick with the red, but you'd better listen to the wife |

If she's your fiance, she's not your wife yet! You will be stuck with the boat regardless, so get what YOU like Long term financing is thicker than blood or water. _________________ Silver Skurfer |
