Im looking to get a fat sac to go under my bench back seat in my I/O VIP. 500lbs should be fine. I would need the sac and a pump. I see them on ebay from anywhere between 80-180. Where is the good bargain on these?

Thanks!

You could buy an aerator pump at wall mart (Attwood 750gph) and some tubing and fittings at home depot or mcmaster.com for much cheaper. The pump is ~15 bucks and fittings/tubing are fairly cheap. If you don't want to mess with that you could go ebay but I think 80-180 is a little expensive for the aerator style. Are you looking to get a reversible impeller style?

I would definitly need it to fill and drain the fat sack. Im not sure how else I would empty it out.

That $55 sac is perfec tfor what I need. What is the advantages/disavantages of not having one of those covers around it?

The pump for $68 seems like a terrible bargain. I can get a pump just like that for the same price locally, but they want over $100 for the sac.

I've got that exact sac in that link. Had it for four seasons, it's tough as nails. Had to repair one hole in it, it's been stepped on a million times too and now looks like hell. It still does the job. Covered sacks don't hold there form well, mines basically a big blob. I keep it in my walk way to the bow so, it has some support. I'd reccomend that sac for a bow walk way or to put in some sort of compartment.

My other sacs are covered and look much nicer and hold thier shape nicely, plus there's more protection.

Or, you could go the cheaper route...get fat friends, make them bring their own beer.

Can you empty with the aerator pumps?

Most of the ones I've seen are like bilge pumps with open bottoms, so it looks like to get water in is no problem (i.e. thrown in the lake), but it seems it would prevent you from getting the water out. I'm slow so pictures help me a bunch.
