Your are just clearing the wake with speed, not pop. Start trying to cut from only about 5-10 feet outside the wake instead of 15 feet. You will actually have to use a progresive edge to get pop to get across the wakes. It sounds like you are just cutting hard, but absorbing the wake instead of straightening your legs. You can get wake to wake, but you won't get any air. Check the trick tips on this site for info on doing a good progressive edge, and try only cutting from 5-10 feet outside the wake like i said before. _________________ www.krookedminds.com

Thats not entirely true hyperrider, you must edge through the entire wake in order to pop, however thats not all tha you have to do, as you progress your edge harder as you approach the wake, you have to hold your edge, that is how you should be when you hit the wake, on your edge, however when you hit that wake, stand tall off of it, meaning straighten your legs slightly, what this does is make it so you "pop" off the wake instead of absorbing it if your knees were bent _________________ "Live to wakeboard, wakeboard to live" |
