The Player is a 3-stage rocker board. The Vision is continuous rocker board.
The Player has a straight edge with a cupped rail. The Vision has a beveled edge.
The Player was designed to be ridden finless. The Vision was designed to be ridden with fins.
The Player board tracks very well when ridden finless but is still loose when ridden flat, its ride would be much more comparable to the Premier then the Vision.
I have ridden both and enjoyed each of them, it just depends on what you are looking for in a wakeboard.

| well I'm a premier fan, but fore some reasons, a might have to change for an obrien board next year but nothings confirmed yet. What I find disapointing is that very few obrien boards are 135-136. The 2005 diesel looks like a premier but it's shorter lenght is 137 and the vahalla starts at 138, so i was wondering about how would the player 133 would ride since the vision 135 is an aggressive board with a continous rocker... |

Nanistia,
If you think the Vision is fast, you have to check out the Demented. The Demented is super fast but it still pops as hard as any 3 stage board I have ever ridden. And then there is the Valhalla, to me it seemed a little faster then the Demented, pops like crazy and lands so soft! The Crook fins really help you build a strong progressive edge.
Wkbrd,
I wouldn't worry about a 2cm difference in the length of a board. I used to ride the Diesel, and it is a very good finless, 3 stage rocker board. I have to say that once I switched to the Demented and now the Valhalla I won't be going back to a 3 stage board. If you are switching to O'Brien I'm sure you will find a board just right for you.

Yeah, I was there. We actually got caught by Charlie and had to stay an extra 4 days!!
I hit the OWC the Wednesday before the hurricane. It was pretty sweet. Were you there, or how did you know??

I thought so, I was the guy riding in the boat with you and your buddy over at darin's. I saw you post about the valhalla and thought it was you, and then I saw the pic of the broken femur and knew for sure.
I see you made it to O-Dubb (OWC), What did you think?
Charlie was nasty, it ripped right over Lake Mary Jane too.
I've also been riding the new Demented for the last couple weeks and I think it the sickest board I've ever rode, hella fast-lots of pop and lands super soft even in the flats
By the way you guys shoul take jjakober advice, when it comes to obrien, he knows his shiznit! |

JKing,
Nice to hear from you. The OWC was pretty fun, to bad it took such a big hit from Charlie.
It must be rough getting to ride with Shapiro and Nadolski all day!!!

JKing,
I'm not sure when the new bindings will ship. I think they are still tweaking them.
