no and yes. yes because it doesnt fit the reccomended manufacturer guidelines(but fyi board size is more of a weight thing then a height thing) and no because anyone can ride a wakeboard eve if its supposed to be too big or too small. it depends if you like it or not.

I wouldn't recomend it for you judging from your size if you asked me if that was a good board for you. but if it is a board that you like and it does not affect your riding then it is alright..although you should try some other sizes just to see what they feel like. (my friend is like 6' 1'' or so and beanpole thin, but rides a 142...although he has dropped wakeboarding for wakeskating.

I'm 6 foot even and I ride anything from a 133 to a 143 and I like bigger boards better cuz I like my bindings all the way out and I just can't get them as wide as I want on a smaller board.

i really dont care i ride what ever i can get. Even if its a 149 hyperlite thats so old your held in by bungys (my dads friends boards that i started on), or my new 141 gator (i like big boards) Im about 5'10" 145 pounds.
