i completely believe that college work study jobs are the sweetest thing in the entire world...i get 2500 a year knocked off my tuition...and all i have to do is do my homework and post on wakeboarder.com for 4 hours every other day....today has been especially productive...i read 100 pages, ate a healthy lunch, and made a few posts....oh yeah i guess i did do about 5 minutes worth of real actual work but still this is sweet _________________ got premier? |

Yes it is great! I had it about two years in my undergraduate days. I worked in the upper level MIS lab and the computers were insane for their day. I stayed on the Net most of the time and studied during other times. Most of the students that used this lab rarely needed help.
But, it is a good idea to use this job to make connections with professors and faculty. Trust me, it will help you out later! Especially if they can remember you and commend your work ethic! Also, if you go to grad school, you will need some faculty connections!

I might go to college at St. John's. Maybe I could take over for you after you finish there. |

Bill Gates sells software, not computers, although you could argue that it is because of his software that people often buy PC's over Mac's. Thanks anyway.
Robby - Maybe I'll consider it this summer. |
