Hey ya'll
Last night was an epic boarding night.. we had butter everywhere, and no boats in sight, cool weather, good tunes, and plenty of brew...
I step up my riding this summer after I started riding behind an inboard with a pylon...
last night I started sticking good height jumps, and am working on grabs..
I can grab with both hands now, and can actually grab the board and hang on for a second...
question is when I tweeked it, (heelside/leading hand/back middle of board) it threw my body off balance and I nose dived into the water....
are there any tips to help not coming out of balance, or do I need to just readjust in the air...
also, that freakin raley is elusive, I have still not even come close, but am still working on it..
thanks guys, _________________ Im dreaming of an endless summer! |

When tweaking u cant be agressive u gotta be slow and smooth so u can bring it back in dont go for huge tweaks righ away progress upto it _________________ They know what is what but they dono what is what they just strut. |

If you're just learning grabs the raley is going to be a bit more than elusive. Crawl, walk, run _________________

Yeah, I have been working on grabs for two summers, and just recently have I started trying some tweaked grabs...
I try a raley atleast once every two or three times out...
tried my first 360 last night, got to about 300 and did not go for the handle, so I bailed (which was kinda what I was attempting anyway)...
this has been a great month for my riding to improve...
thanks for the help...I need to start small huh, _________________ Im dreaming of an endless summer! |

| SC_boarder, practice tweaking the board without grabbing it. bring the board up like your going to grab i then poke. then you just grab it and do the same motion. it really helps with methods. |

| The most important thing is to bring the board up to you by sucking your legs up. If you reach down for the board, you will get pulled off balance and fall hard. |
