Board Shopping

I'm a new boarder, learned toward the end of last summer, and am looking for a board. I'm 6', 170 lbs. I have no idea what length of board to get, let alone what type of board would be best for a beginner like me. Any input on a board that would be a good one to learn on but also one that I would be able to keep as I progress in ability would be very helpful. Thanks.

I have a 2003 liquid force seach 135cm with speed suctions bineding that I fell would be a good board for you.... my friend rode it last year ad hes about your size and skill leavel and it was perfect for him.... i am asking $230 for the board and it has been ridden less than 10 times
