Saturday hit a balmy 62 here in Cincy & we took my friend Tony's VLX out for a few hours, I didn't ride but 3 people did. Thanks to the dry suits the 42 degree water temp kept them pretty warm Very Happy But I think I'll wait until the water is atleast 50! It was nice just to be back out there though...... spring fever has definately arrived!

We went out Saturday in Northern Utah. The water was rough so the runs were just token runs to say we did it but the season has started.

Hey Wakechick,
Are you in Cincinnati? If you are I am coming out there in June and was wondering what the good shops are in the area. I wanted to see if I could talk them into carrying the best wakeboard fins in the world Razz

The guy on the board is actually a buddy, I was driving. The lake is Utah Lake. I do not recommend riding there. It's a nasty place. We're still waiting for the ice fishermen to leave the good mountain lakes Very Happy

I'm not usually a wimp but I got on the boat about 4pm after work & the people who rode said it was choppy & cold, token rides mainly as mobslv said. So, I just sat back & enjoyed being on the boat listening to some music & hanging w/ the crew, brought back good memories of last season & anticipation for this one. We discussed our plans for LSF which is coming up --- anybody else planning on heading down? We will prob end up w/ about 30 people this year making the trip.
Lyle- No Wake Marine is the shop around here. Visit there website & email Spencer or call him & tell him what your up to --- www.nowake.com Very Happy

Gotta love South Florida. Air has been low 90's with water in the mid 80's. I must say it is getting a little hot though.

How did you find open water. I am only a few miles north (Dayton area), and we are all still frozen!

We ride on the Licking River which is an offshoot of the Ohio, there had been some ice on top the week before but barges run up & down & I think that helped.
