just push on the back of your right binding, while sliding your foot out, then put your right foot on the left and push with your right and pull with your left and it should come off fine

I have no choice but to take mine off on the water, I wouldn't be able to get in the boat (outboard fishing boat) otherwise. The one time I road behind an actual wakeboarding boat, I took it off on the swim deck, but that was probably just because I couldn't get it off. I was at a DoubleUp demo, and the bindings were too small for me, took forever to get out. I had to stand on the deck board on my feet, have one person stand on each end of the board and jump out into the lake. Kills the ankles.

I take mine off in the water. Well when I'm done usually is when one of my feet come out of the boot. Which doesn't happen that often. But yeah I'd find it to be too much work to get on the swim platform and take them off. I only did that once and that was because I was being chased by a water moccasin and there wasn't anyway I was staying in the water to take my bindings off.

Sweet little trick I learned from my ultra suctions.

First you take your board, and move it so its directly below you, so you are basicly standing up. (this might take some practice) but then all you have to do is jump, and your feet will just pop out beacause the resistance between the top of your board and the water will hold your board in place....

easy as pie.

I should try that, cuz usually its like a wrestling match between me and my bindings when I take them off.

I can't get mine off in the water. They are wayy too tight. I have to do it in the boat. The O'brien System bindings are made like that I guess. It fits fine when I'm in it, but gettin in and out is SUPER HARD. I have to be pulled into the bass boat and then they have to hold the board down while I pull. Crying or Very sad

Yes. The fastest way to get your board off is to catch your tail edge coming down off of a trick. The board will stay where it caught the edge but you will be catapulted about 1 foot beyond that, and you will be free of your bindings

aka cottonmouth, poisonous snake that lives around water. Often confused with a water snake.

Mitch3 -
Sure, they're all over the place. Gotta be careful when you go down - they like to hunt in packs like wolves. In fact, they're nickname up here is "lake wolf", yeah, that's it, that's the ticket. Nasty beasts - when they catch you, two hold your arms and two hold your legs while a fifth one forces you to drink Keystone Light. Laugh

Alright, enough of that nonsense. Just being stupid on a Monday. Very Happy Seriously, though, we don't have them in MN - they can't survive the winters. As I mentioned in another thread about creepies in the water, that's the price all y'all pay for living where you can board year-round or close to it. Worst that could happen up here is that a northern or a snapper might mistake your toe for a chub. Wink

ya i take the board off in the water most of the time, other times i have to get pulled up onto the boat with it, but thats only if my dad thinks were headed for shallow ground then he wants to get the boat out of the area so he pulls me up onto the boat with the board still attached to me.

what he said. this is the easiest way, but sometimes people have trouble getting the board underneath them. what i do is bend my knees a lot, turn the board a little bit so that one foot is higher in the water than the other and then arm circle in the water to get your feet and board to rotate down. then just jump out of the bindings. Cool
