hey i was wondering if there is a weight limit to wakeskating. because my friend weighs like 190 and i was wondering if a wakeskate will get him up since it is smaller than a wakeboard. also if it is possible what size should i tell him to get.

thanks

You should maybe post this in the wakeskating forum you'd probably get a better response there.

Should be able to get up unless its an extra small skate. They make a 116 scape and its easily big enough to get someone that size up.

My 6'6" buddy uses my scape 116 and gets up no problem. Weight shouldn't be a problem...

Like the people above said; he'll just be limited to certain wakeskates...won't be very good on a Byerly Neutral

I don't think 190 is a lot (even though it's almost double my weight, but whatever) I'd say he should be fine on any skate 42"+

A friend of mine is abou that size, maybe a tiny bit smaller, and he shares a 41" skate with me. It shouldn't be a problem.
