What boat are you rockin, and how much weight do you put in the front and the back? Hopefully were getting fat sacs this year, but until then friends will do hah. Do you ride farther out w/ weight? I want to ride out at 75ish but we dont have a wake out there

i would just play around with two sacks to start with. see how you like the wake and see how your boat handles with them then add some from there if you even need to

How much weight you put where depends completely on the boat. In my friends 01 super air, we fill the stock ballast, put about 200lbs total in the vdrive compartments, fill a 350 in the back of the boat, and half of a 350 in the locker. It works out pretty good. If we have a bunch of people, we take out the sack in the back. If we have less than 5, we keep it. It's a pretty good setup.

today in a wakesetter VLX we had the stock ballast filled, which is around 900#'s. Then added 1 600# sack in the Bow, 1 600# sack on the floor in the back, and the wedge...7 people in the boat, and the wake was a friggin wall! I actually liked it better with out the wedge down, but everyone else seemed to like it with the wedge better. We were riding at 75 feet at 24 mph.

wow how many hours do you think your going to get out of your boat kyle ? after running all that weight in it?

on the weekend we i rode in our club championship we rode behind a responce with 3x300kgs on the floor of the boat 250kgs in the rear locker and about 400kgs in the frount aswell as about 6 ppl the thing was nilly sinking but it had a killer wake
i think its round 3000#'s plus ppl

I have a 2002 wakesetter Vlx and we ride full mls so that is 500 in the back 500 in the middle then the wedge plus another 500lbs in the transom. so all and all it is 1500 plus the simulated 1000 from the wedge and the wake with that extra 500lbs sack gets a little steeper and really firm it just boots you into the air. I ride at 84ft and it is great at 25mph on perfect pass and my girlfriend rides at 75 at 22mph and most of the guys i ride with ride around 80ft at 23mph

I have a 2001 Wakesetter VLX with 2 600 pound sacks on each side of the engine + another 300#s of sand bags. A 600 pound sack on the floor above the MLS in the ski locker(which is like 400 pounds) then another 300 pounds of sand bags under the cusions(sp?) in the bow. We ride with 4-5 people and maybe a dog or 2. I wakeskate with 70' at 21 mph.
Hyperproair- I have friends that have a 2000 Wakesetter VLX with the same weight as me which is around 2800 pounds plus 4-5 people always in the boat, run that way since day one. Theirs has 1200+ hours with nothing mechanically wrong with it. So I would think that Kyle can expect more hours than that, as I do.
