Could somebody tell me how exactly a wakeboard tower works and what it is designed to do? Does it give you more pop/height, or does it give you more hang time in the air? _________________ A bad day wakeboarding is better than a good month at work. |

It pulls you off the wake and into the air, when you are in the air you won't have the downward pulling motion that you would have if the rope was tied low. _________________

So is it alot harder to get good air/distance w/o a tower? _________________ A bad day wakeboarding is better than a good month at work. |

The tower also helps pull newer riders out of the water when they are first learning.
But the distance or air you get isn't really affected by the tower. It's more a result of a good size wake and a good progressive edge thru the wake. And board design is a factor in that as well. _________________ So, I've got that goin' for me...which is nice! |

| agree with the others.... the tower with your rope pulling you from a higher level you are pulled up not down when you jump so you will get more pop and more hang time |
