Just wondering, but wouldnt the skate be significantly heavier than most of the others out there on the market, which would make it more difficult for to complete some of the tricks? _________________ "I knew those girls were pros, but don't tell Turtle, it'll break his heart." - Drama, Entourage |

| Mister C, considering that all the pro models are bi-level i would say no. you could trim off some weight on the bottom deck because it doesntneed to be concave. Also the top deck could be pretty thin. the decks are only an eight of an inch a part so its like subtracting one ply. |

| Sorry, I don't understand what the bi-level is s'posed to accomplish. I've seen the snowskate bi-level & that's basically a skateboard deck with a mini-snowboard underneath to make carving possible, but how does that translate into a water deck? That article didn't help explain it & nobody has pictures up yet. |

I believe the idea is that the top deck can angle down against the bottom deck to provide the board the ability to angle more making it easier to ollie high. Part of the problem with normal wakeskates is they can't achieve the same angle a skateboard deck can achieve when kicking the tail down to get higher ollies. _________________ Pat McCarthy |

| Oh okay, now I think I understand. I hafta wonder though if water is gonna be able to provide a hard enuff surface to allow for a good pop off the tail. It's one thing to ollie on concrete, water's a whole different animal. |
