My friend and I are starting to make a really long wakeboarding video, but we got stuck on a few "simple" things. Mainly with our production name and logo. After awhile we decided on Crash Films.(I personally don't like it but we need to get moving on) If anybody has seen this done before let me know so I can change it. For the logo we are just going to have it in a special font with a little design, but we wanted that on the screen for a couple seconds sitting over top water. Then it would drop down into the water and make a splash. Does anybody know what program we can do this with besides Flash?

Also If anybody wants to help us out with the logo feel free!!!!!!!!

Sorry its so wordy

If you want realistic looking water, you are going to have to go with a 3d program like 3d studio max or maya. The learning curve for those programs is pretty steep and it's very hard to create realistic water. Flash is a 2d program, so anything you do will look like a cartoon, but it will work if that's the look you are going for.

why don't you just jump into a pool with the video camera and put it in slower motion Mr. Green . that would be a realistic splash.

you can make Text rise out of water in after effects. it will look ok. but if you want something really good. your gonna have to get a 3d program to make the water drip off the text n such.

Thanks for all your help but we finally came up with something way better, and the logo will be a lot different.
