hydroslide!!

what do u guys think about hydroslide wakeboards? i rode one and it kicked @$$ .....some of them are crappy , but some are excellent, plus the velcro bindings really make it easy

yeah I got my little brother a cheap ass hydro slide board at big 5 to start him out, cause i didn't wanna wate money on a expensive board...........big mistake it sucked ass and he out grew the damn board in less than a month.........fortunately my sister accidentally backed my dad's trailor over it and craked it in half.....those boards hella SUCK Mad

Ok so the deal is.....I ride a hydroslide......I'll accept ridicule and pity donations of money and wakeboard gear. I can't even go wake 2 wake with that POS. Well, my friend has some form of a 2004 dUP. Not too sure what, but he also has a malibu wakesetter. After trying so hard to get air with my board behind my boat, I went behind his. on the first jump I landed about 10 ft outside the other wake...on my head...

Yea wakesize and technique have alot to due with your height and distance. I too started on a Hydroslide and got w2w, 180s, worked on my 3 all behind a crappy boat. However once I really got into it I saved up and got a LF board. The ride is so much better but its still not as fun being behind a ripple maker. Once I too got behind a "wake" boat the difference was unreal. Dont let people rip on you for the Hydroslide, almost everyone started on a beginner type board different than they probably have now. You need to start small and try out the sport on something that wont break the bank first. Learn and have fun, then go for the nice board.

i'm from nor cal and I say HELLA all the time, without even thinkin about it , but my cousin from LA was thrown off that the word even exhists, i guess So.Cal is some sort of magical land where the word hella has yet to be developed.....wierd Very Happy

the board in my gallery is a hydroslide. my buddy put a paint job on it to get rid of the "hella" dumb graphics. i thought the board was ok untill i rode by friends GB Caddie and LF board. but i'm a beginner and don't have $600 to throw down on a new setup.
