try a shorter approch, starting just outside the spray of the boat. This will cause you to pop up more, but you will go wake to wake and should land on the down slope of the second wake. You may have to play with the distance a little.

Also never let that handle up on a back roll even if you are trying to stop your rotation. Keep it at your waist. If you need to stop your rotation b/c you are over rotating either
Don't throw it so hard off the wake or
keep you lead hand on the handle at your waist and open up with you back hand off the handle.

some times landing flat is also atributed to not edging all the way through the top of the wake so if the others don't help you could check that out.

im not sure but it seems....once u land, not during the backroll but once u land let go with one hand....that will keep ur board on edge.

Make sure you edge all the way through the wake. If your landing on the board, just HOLD ON and you will pull off a sketchy one. Hey its better than nothing. Then you can work from there.

Im working on grabbing my backroll and i can't freakin get it.. anyone have tips for that?
