| I am looking to buy a used boat. I have been looking at an 87 ski suprmeme, but I don't really know much about the supreme's. does anyone know if it will throw a decent wake, or if it is even a boat I should be looking at. I really don't like the closed bow, but for a good price I suppose I'll sacrifice an open bow. I have about $8,000 I am working with, any other suggestions that are under 8k. Thanks any comments help!!! |

I can chime in on this one. We have 86 ski supreme. I bought if off a guy on this board, in SC. It came with a tower and sacks. The pleasure craft is a solid engine and so is the rest of the boat. If I were to do it again Id look at the Sierra Supreme. Same boat a little bigger with an open bow. As with everthing make sure you get test drive in before buying and if at all possible a compression test. _________________ http://www.wakepics.com/member/Steelerguy

| Yes our ski club here in michigan has a 1991 ski supreme closed bow for the main tow ski rig. The boat is a very solid boat and we've(My dad's the president) never had any major problems with it to date, and it has plenty of power. As far as the wake, it throws a pretty nice wake with a driver and spotter, one kid can do tantrums and stuff off the wake with no added weight. With some weight I bet it'd through a mean wake. |

I have a 1990 Ski-Supreme and have had alot of fun with it. I have added a 10 foot pole bought from this site and a few other added items. We were out this morning, rode for 5 hours. I had my Supreme, friends had their Ski-Ray with tower and an X-star....With 500 pounds added my Supreme has a very nice wake. We rode behind each bout for about 1 1/2 hours and all agreed that the Ol' Supreme had a comparible wake. We had people in the boat that were landing sick tricks and easily. So yes, consider the Supremes...If you are still looking, let me know and you could buy mine...32 hours on new motor, tranny, etc. _________________ Rise-Eat-Hit the water, and enjoy. |
