Just wanted to share my excitement over recovering a lost move! I landed my first hs front flip in over two years today. That used to be one of my stock moves, then it got weird on me, then I hurt my ankle on it.

Today we rode on some super smooth water, so I gave her a try, nailed it on my second attempt. Man it feels good to have that back!

BILLY! Man it's good to see you on here. Congrats on the move, that's awsome. Listen, my dad took our boat last week up to Idaho so I am now boatless. Think you would ever have any extra room? I'm about to go crazy. NO one in Hurricane wakeboards. I have progressed so much this summer I would hate for it to go to waste. Anyway if you ever need a 3rd please let me know. You know I'll pitch in for gas. If not... I'll understand Crying or Very sad j/k just let me know. Thanks

Oh, and in case you don't remember me I'm Tyler's little bro.

bryce_04, pm me with your phone #, I only have Tyler's. What stuff have you learned this year?

wakeboarder_360, well, knowing how it felt was a help Wink, but these were what I focused on:

1) Taking a pretty mellow edge. It's an easy move to take big, but you edge real hard at the end, and I wanted low impact, so I took a mellow edge in. I thought of how Byerly does his wake to wake slob front to fakies.

2) Like I said before, have a super progressive edge. Mellow up until the last little bit, then just dig in.

3) Stand tall on your back foot off the wake, suck your front knee up and wait on the rotation. Back when I first learned them, I figured if Jeremy Kovak could wait forever on his "slowball," then I could at least wait til I left the wake to flip, which helped.

4) Keep the handle at your hip through the rotation.

It's a weird feeling move. You will know that you edged right if you feel the handle tugs on your hands as you leave the wake. It's a move that I can take higher off the wake than other moves, my friends said it looked like I hit a double up on them. Good luck with it man.

This is one trick I have a hard time taking the frantrum out of. I still can't seem to get that last little bit of frantrum out of it. I wonder if a nose grab would straighten that out...
