| I just looked at the website and noticed that there is supposed to be a wakeboard only competition August 7th, but the place is unknown. If anyone knows, or has a way of finding out, i would love to know. Thanks. |

jbjboc, why don't you contact int and get it started? i'm sure you won't have a hard time getting locals to sponsor. i judged int in central cal for 2 years, so maybe i can help you out.
usually, the problem int runs into is findin a lake(s) to hold the tourney. _________________ my demo reel

I actually tried to get Cheryl Ditmar to get involved again ( she ran the INT in So Cal before). I can help out but don't have the time to be the coordinator. It's not only a time commitment but financial as well. California Skier will help out with some sponsorship and maybe a boat??? but it's gonna take a few people to revive INT in So Cal....
I'm helping out with some judging this year at Cen Cal INT and competing in Masters. You still riding any tourny's Jumalian? I live in Lake Forest... real close to ya... wanna carpool to some tourny's? |

competing in masters? i'm your competition!
actually, i did a canyon lake tourney this year, which was the 1st one in 3 years. pretty much got away from riding for a while, but now that i'm back in cali, i'm riding a bit more. maybe, i could do a central cal int, but, it's going to take some convincing...
a. i'm not ready...my riding's sucking right now.
b. it's a long ass drive. (that's what my girlfriend says)
c. int is so damn expensive.
so, where do you ride locally? any good water i don't know about? care to hook up a fellow masters rider? _________________ my demo reel

I'm riding at Canyon Lake once a week, and giving wakeboard lessons and riding at Irvine Lake twice a week. The Cen Cal INT's are usually Fresno area- about a three and half hour drive. Not too bad..... remember- not pulling a boat so 90 MPH up Hwy 99 makes it go pretty quick
If you wanna check out Cutting Edge Ski School, it's a quick way to board on sweeeet water right in the OC. ONLY place to ride in OC. $45 for a session may sound expensive, but no towing, launching, or cleaning the boat afterwards. And believe it or not we have some excellent instructors that help take your riding to the next level! |
