Hello,
I'm flipping all the way around and landing on my board.
However, I let go with my backhand when im half way through the flip, land and it gets yanked out of my hands.
Is it nessesary to hold on with 2 hands all the way through the trick?
Thankyou. |

It is a lot easier to land when you have both hands on the rope
DON'T LET GO! |

just always concentrate on holding on with that back hand all hte way through the trick. Make it your number one thought on the way up the wake and through the trick. good luck! _________________ Alaska: Where the men are men and the women are men. |

Focus on keeping your elbows into your hips. I had the same problem, and even today, I still land that trick w/only one hand. Brain fart, but I still have the trick down w/one hand, so it can be done. Don't let your arms the whole way out when cutting in...focus on keeping your elbows bent and by your hips. When you let go with the back hand, focus on keeping your front elbow into your hips and bent. Good Luck _________________ Don't let go of the rope |

Amy,
I have just recently started trying Brolls and amazingly I have gotten the roll down pretty well, or so I think. I haven't landed yet but I'm not sure what I should do to help out. I get all the way around and most of the time go w2w. I even land on the board but with only my left hand(HS jump). Any advice to help a guy out? _________________ Back to back NBA champs. |

patrickengler,
Would you be able to post a video of your B-roll? It's hard to give you advice when I'm not sure of the problem, ...I will cut the trick down into stepsk, hope it helps you!!
1. Take a progressive edge into the wake
.......Make sure you are cutting the whole way through and up the wake
2. At the bottom of the wake, stand tall, lock your elbows into your hips, look up
and think up and away. When u look up, it's on a diagonal--not directly up --(hope that makes sense, if not let me know and I'll go into more detail)
3. The line should be very loaded...if loaded correctly, the trick will take itself around. It's all physics...the load on that line and the cut into the wake...
4. Try to spot the landing
5. Bend knees to absorb the shock _________________ Don't let go of the rope |
