I'm stoked the Sharks got rid of Nolan last week! Hopefully they will improve now!

Nolan is great, but he was just becoming a stale leader for the team. He really has'nt done much for the Sharks this year, or the end of last year for that matter.
I've never really been a fan of the Sharks, but I think this is a good change for them. Maybe next year they will win some more games.
I'm going to the game on the 20th....they're playing my Bruins. It'll be fun to wear my Bruins Thornton jersy to the game....I do hope the Sharks win, but I doubt it!

True he was struggling in San Jose. But he brings alot of depth to the Leafs.

There were a lot of deals done today. The Edmonton ones bothered me a bit, I think they ripped themselves off, but thats just my opinion. In BC we were waiting for a big deal but nothing came of it, GM Brian Burke said he was working on getting a big name within minutes of the deadline but it fell apart, too bad, I think it was Ray Whitney. But we did get Brad May, who is truly loved in Vancouver, it was hard to see him leave 3 or 4 years ago but he'll look great in a Canucks jersey. He's good friends with Bertuzzi so that is a plus. I think the Leafs got a lot better short term, you leaf fans should hope you do it this year, possibly next,a lot of youth was dealt. Hope to see a Leafs-Canuck matchup in the Final!!
Anyone want to bet on who's gonna win the game this Saturday?

It sucks that Marchement went to the Avs, he has always been a thorn in the side of the Stars (my team). I'm glad to see Nolan gone, I can't stand that cheap s.o.b.

This is shaping up to be a great playoff season, can't wait till it starts.

Predictions anyone!?!?

I hope it's the Stars and the Flyers, Hitch vs. the old team, that would be a good matchup. I only hope we get Guerin back for it.

Right with ya Craiger, can't stand Nolan and hate to see the Avs any better at any time. Stars will have a tough playoff run with the Avs in the second round and the Red Wings in the conference finals - only 2 wins and 6 ties vs those two this year.

Don't think we'll see Guerin again this year -- same injury to Cam Neely killed his career as the best power forward evah.

Actually I lived out there for a few years about a decade ago. After being born and bread on hockey in the Detroit area, I was really suprised how much of it was out there. Never got a chance to play there though, was too broke.

It's a good game, I just got back from our first spring season game. Of course, now I am old and slow and just surviving in Adult D league. Next stop, the couch. Hockey gives me a similar rush as Wakeboarding.

ah nothing like canadians talking hockey...i'm loving my minnesota wild though...lemaire is a good coach...i get a little sick of their trapping defensive style...but i needed a hockey fix after our beloved north stars left (damn you texas folks who don't appreciate them)
