does anyone know where i could find a cheap but nice pylon or tower under 500??

the cheapest tower i've found is $700 w/free shipping but i would pay extra for a tower rather then a pylon just help not damage any boat. some pylons don't absorb much and the boat ends up doing that

Get a monster tower, they are like 1k, but really nice. Doesn't make noise and folds completely down.

can monster towers fit any kind of boat? i have a stingray 190 lx. here is a picture you can see of it.

You can build your own pylon for less than $100 - it works great. I have an older boat, and I simply couldn't justify purchasing/installing a tower that's worth more than the boat.

There's a guy that sells plans for $5.00. Search on google and you can find them. I've made a few adjustments/modifications to his plans, but it's a good start.

Hey beasoldierprstn,

Check my gallery and go to Bill at Monster Tower's DIY site - it's something like DIYtower.com where he has been kind enough to post my "how to" for building a pylon that is stout and requires no holes to be drilled...
