hey guys, i have a board that has a center fin on each end. i have been noticing a lot of people are using the boards with side fins and sometimes all three. if i bought a board with side fins, should i get one that has the option of a center fin too? to get really specific, i'm deciding on the 2004 Obrien demented 131 or the 2005 LF team 130. the demented has no center fin and the team has all three. also, should i consider a board the has side fins you can remove (like the team) or molded fins like the 2004 CWB ablsolute 134? anyone used these boards or any other suggestions? thanks

the only reason the fins are there is to give better edging support and to keep the fins in the water when you cut hard

It's my second year (actually 6 months total) because of the seasons but I can jump and do surface 180s. i am working on landing one wake 180s and ollie 180s so i guess you could say I'm a beginner. the reason I'm considering a board with fins on the side is because my first summer i rode with a huge center fins and didn't learn to cut with my edge but this summer i changed fins. i can surface 180 no prob now but cutting i basically have to start all over. i'm shaky bc i'm used to that big fin. i thought maybe side fins would help with this? I'm eager to get riding but i want to wait til i get my fave board so i get used to it - i just want to buy the right one. thanks for any help
