Wow. Just....wow. What an athlete. To come back from cancer and continue to dominate like he did is awesome. I dont care what anyone says about any alleged doping. Lance Armstrong is awesome.

Furthermore...anyone notice that Jan Ullrich came in 4th? Confused

wes reeves, not sure why that keeps coming up - the new group that is taking over sponsorship of the team next year (U.S. Postal is no more) stipulated that Lance had to ride the Tour next year and had a clause for the year after. But for some reason, I have heard several rumors that he won't ride next year. Personally I think his ego and drive for immortality will bring him back for a shot at 7 straight.

they had an interview with him that they showed on OLN after one of the stages and he said that if he wins this year he is done, he will just be a father. or somthing along those lines.
and supposedly the doping charges were made up.

midwest wake, I don't believe there were any "charges" per say. I think there were just a lot of people trying to bring him down.

IN his contract I was told he has to ride. When you win the tour, it's courtesy to come back and ride the next year. He officially on all of his interviews said that that was not his last time to do the lap on the street in france that you do if you win(can't spell it to save my life). He just didn't say if he would come back next year and do it, or wait. I hope he does. I want him to win seven, to put it out of anyone's reach, just like ripkin jr did with most consecutive games.

Pertaining to Lance's contract and USPS no longer sponsoring the team, this should clear a lot up.

I for one am a little dissappointed that USPS will no longer be the main sponsor. The Blue Train is no longer.
