OK, well I shopped around and found that the Tige best fits what I am looking for in Wakeboard, slalom and rough water ride characteristics, seems to be the best total all around package. Here comes the issue, I was all set to take an 04 leftover riders addition 22v basically loaded, test drove it and everything, went back one last time to drool/finalize the deal and low and behold the dealer got a shipment of 05s which in it was a 24v limited. Now the extra space is nice but the boat just seemed enourmous! It had just come off the truck so I could not test drive it.

First question, has anyone test driven the 22v then the 24v and if so what main differences are there in handling characteristics both when towing a rider/skier and in rough water?

Second question is a little different, they had a grey carpet model and a tan carpet, now both boats were out in the sun and sitting in the lot not on water, the grey carpet was real hot, to the touch where the tan was not as much, those who have the grey carpet do you find it is almost unbearably hot to the touch when out in the sun?

Thanks for any info on the Tiges in advance, they seem to be great boats and most everyone with the newer Tiges on this board loves them.

i rode in both the 22v and 24v at last years boat show...

the 24v's wake looked way wider but it did offer a lot more space

handling was about the same.

A larger boat does not necessarily equal a better wake.
