My buddy has a closed bow '94 SN, he had some electrical problems last night. Basically he lost all electrical power. I have had that happen on my Moomba but it was just that the main beaker had been tripped. I asked him if he had checked the breaker and he said "Breaker??? Wheres that??" and I said how about the fuses...same response. The boat is off in storage so does anyone know where the fuse box is on the closed bow version? How about a main breaker, is there one and if so where is it?

thanks

All the 'buttons' on the control panels are also the breakers. In that group he should have a main ignition switch that controls all of the electronics on that boat. I have a 93 that is that way. I'd check out the ignition button/breaker first. They can go bad just like everything else. They are also pretty expensive 20-30 bones.

The main breaker on the older Nautiques is near the back of the engine. There should be a large red reset button. Check this first. If this is not it check the battery cable clamps. These clamps corrode over time and will impede current from getting to the instuments. If it is neither of these then proceed to the breaker switches on the helm panel. Hopefully it is one of the first two.

Good luck!
