i ride with my right foot forward, but it seems to me that everybody else rides with their left foot forward. I'm right handed if it makes a difference.

yeh if it is comfortalbe then ride it the moajority doesn't matter so jsut ride and have fun, i ride goofy and ridehatzic is regular

Ride with your right foot forward if you like it. Don't ever ride just to look like someone else

but also be sure to keep in mind the necessity to advance your left foot forward skills too. it doesn't have to be immediatly, but before you get too advanced with your right foot forward, because then you have to start all over with your left foot forward.

I ride Goofy (right foot forward) as well..rock on

Left foot forward=Regular
Right foot forward=Goofy

Yes they're actually called regular and goofy, im not calling right foot forward "weird" or anything...Either stance is perfectly normal, just depends on how you are comfortable. I skateboard goofy, but I've just started wakeboarding, and I'm regular...only because thats how I tried getting up, not paying attention to my stance - I guess I'll just have an easy time riding switch! Laughing

Also might I add that I am right handed, and I ride goofy...

everytime i get up i alternate stances, but im more comfortable regular cuz thats how i skateboard and snowboard

dont worry about it man....i ride goofy (right foot forward also) and the only difference is that when you ask for help make sure that you cross everything over because usually the person you ask will explain it as they would do it regular but remember that you are the exact opposite from them and just cross the information over.

dont see why its called goofy by the way. every boarder that taught me or that i ever taught was always right foot forward....must be an Alabama thing lol
