Had a '99 Pro - the wake shape was excellent - but you definitely need to add some significant ballast. The boat does handle better than either a SAN or Sport when loaded, but it also drinks gas....

What year and how many hours on the one you're lookin' at?

I ran one less than full fat sac in the locker and two side sacs, plus a full crew (4-6) to get the wake up to the size I liked it...

The Pro is a great boat w/ a great wake - especially if you pick one up for the right price....

I had a 00 pro air and now i have a 02 superair.. You have to load the pro air up pretty heavy. The wakes are not even in the same class... If you can get a v drive. What do I know????

I as well had a 00 Pro Air and now have a 02 Super Air. The Pro Air has a nice wake when you really load it up, but with just ballast and 3 people it would be rather small. I probably put about 2500 lbs. in our Pro Air to get a good wake, but that did make it pretty good size. The Super Air wake is just off the charts though.

when i had the pro air, we would fill the tanks and add 300 lbs of lead with about 6 riders. It was a nice wake. But when I got my super air, it took about a week to adjust to the wake. I guess it really depends on what your into..... If you still ski, the pro is the best of both worlds. If your just into wakeboarding--- v-drive. Pro Air is limited how big you can get it and v drive is just giant if you want it to be.
